Born in Dallas, Texas, Alexandra grew up surrounded by Spanish, English, Arabic, and Italian. After moving to Venezuela before age two, Spanish became her first language. She holds a Master's degree in Health Care Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and is a California court certified and medical interpreter with over 17 years of experience.

She founded Kaplan Interpreting Services after seeing an industry that treated interpreters as interchangeable and clients as ticket numbers. She built something different: an agency where every interpreter is hand-selected, every client has a dedicated point of contact, and communication is proactive, not reactive.

That approach has produced results: 18,978+ certified assignments, a 99.7% on-time rate, and zero missed assignments across 17 years. Her experience includes interpretation for President Biden and Pope Francis, Nike corporate events, the Summit of the Americas, and California's leading law firms.
